Dr. Salim Boulos is an architect, designer, and artist based in Beirut.
He holds a Ph.D. in Architecture and Urban Planning in 2026 and has been a researcher since 2021 at the Centre de Recherche sur l’Habitat (UMR LAVUE–CRH CNRS 7218), affiliated with the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris-Val de Seine and Université Paris Nanterre.
He earned his Diploma of Advanced Studies in Architecture from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA), Beirut, in 2006. He later completed a postgraduate degree in Design and Innovation for Architecture (DPEA) at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Grenoble (ENSAG), France, in 2016.
He has extensive professional experience in architecture, interior architecture, and design, having worked on a wide range of projects at different scales and phases.
Since 2008, he has been teaching architecture at several universities.
His research focuses on the theory, history, and pedagogy of architecture, under the prism of cultural and institutional transfers and hybridizations.
Dr. Boulos is fluent in French, English, Arabic, Italian and German.
